The Huawei Mate 30 Pro is a premium smartphone, which is the successor of the Mate 20 Pro. The device resembles the design of Mate 20 but brings some noticeable upgrades. The improved processor renders excellent performance with no sign of a glitch. It has great power backup too and can be conveniently charged, thanks to the wireless and fast charging features. The cameras are superb too. However, the hybrid slot might be the only drawback.

Display and Performance

The Huawei Mate 30 Pro has been provided with a 6.71-inch Super AMOLED display, which renders a resolution of 1,440 x 3,120 pixels with a 512 PPI pixel density. With the punch-hole display, it produces wide and excellent viewing experience, covered with a Corning Gorilla Glass. It also bears an in-display fingerprint scanner.

In terms of performance, the device has been equipped with a slightly upgraded HiSilicon Kirin 980 chip and eight-core processor that runs at a frequency of 2.6GHz. It also gets a Mali-G76 MP10 GPU and an 8GB RAM.


Camera and Battery

As for the cameras, Huawei Mate 30 Pro has triple primary optic setup with 40MP, 40MP and 8MP sensors, which features an ultra-wide-angle lens and telephoto lens in addition to the main high-resolution sensor. The front camera produces excellent selfie pictures with the help of the 32MP lens.

The smartphone will run on a 4,200mAh Li-Po battery with fast charging technology as well as wireless charging feature. It can refill the battery significantly faster than others and renders up to 10W faster output itself.

Storage and Connectivity

The Huawei Mate 30 Pro has been provided with an internal storage of 128GB, which can keep unlimited files, a number of apps and games, etc. It also supports an expansion of up to 256GB with the expense of an SD card.

For the connectivity of the smartphone, it provides 4G (supports Indian bands), 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi 802.11, b/g/n, Mobile Hotspot, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, USB Type-C, Mass storage device, USB charging, etc.
